We provide visual artists at all stages of their career, working in any media, with the opportunity to exhibit in a professional gallery. We represent a diverse range of voices within our community and beyond. We welcome submissions from artists of all backgrounds. There’s no fee to apply.
Send your submissions in either MS Word or PDF format (we need digital files, so linking us to your website isn’t sufficient).
Email your submission to agb.curatorial@gmail.com
Exhibitions are selected by our Curatorial Committee. All submissions will be reviewed. We’ll email you the status of your submission in October 2024.
We’ll let you know in October 2024 if we’re able to offer you an exhibition slot, after which we’ll send you a contract to sign and return. Exhibition opening receptions are always on the first Thursday of the month. Your work must arrive at the Gallery on the Sunday prior to the opening date.
The Art Gallery of Bancroft is situated on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg Algonquins, which is known to be unceded. Indigenous people have been stewards of this land since time immemorial; as such we honour and respect their connection to the land, its plants, animals and stories. Our recognition of the contributions and historic importance of Indigenous peoples is sincerely aligned to our collective commitment to make the promise and the challenge of truth and reconciliation real in our community.
