Our gallery gift shop sells unique creations made by talented local and regional artists. Browse our enchanting collection of original paintings, pottery, textiles and wood, leather, jewelry, art books, art cards, stained glass, and so much more!
We typically mount 10 to 12 exhibitions each year, celebrating the work of local and regional artists and artisans. Be sure to attend the opening receptions held on the first Friday of each month at 7:30 pm. They’re a great opportunity to get to know the artists and their work. Our popular annual Juried Exhibition is another annual must-see exhibit.
The Art Gallery of Bancroft (AGB) is a public art gallery located in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. We’re a thriving, not-for-profit organization which wouldn’t exist without our dedicated team of volunteers. We do not receive funding from any level of government. We’re financed 100% through fundraising initiatives.
The AGB has been building on our wonderful permanent collection for over thirty years. Our collection of over 100 pieces includes works by Harold Town, George Raab, Earl W. Smith, Oscar Schlienger, Gerald Humen and Michal Manson.

The Art Gallery of Bancroft is situated on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg Algonquins, which is known to be unceded. Indigenous people have been stewards of this land since time immemorial; as such we honour and respect their connection to the land, its plants, animals and stories. Our recognition of the contributions and historic importance of Indigenous peoples is sincerely aligned to our collective commitment to make the promise and the challenge of truth and reconciliation real in our community.
