43!! Fundraising Auction and Mystery Art Grab

43!! will be our most important fundraiser of the year, supporting the AGB’s outstanding exhibitions as well as our educational and community outreach programs. Taking inspiration from our 43 years of operation in 2025, we’re holding our inaugural Online Auction and in-house Mystery Art Grab both featuring artwork by talented artists from our region and beyond.
Don’t miss Bancroft’s most fun event of the year! Enjoy hors d’oeuvres, music and a wine bar while bidding on your favourite artwork and deciding which Mystery Art Grab piece you must have! Your participation will raise important funds for the gallery’s operation and programming. Entry to the party is free, but only ticket holders will participate in the Art Grab draw.

Friday, February 14, noon (Happy Valentine's Day!)
Online Auction bidding begins at noon. Open to all registered bidders.
Saturday, March 1
Online auction closes at 5pm. Those attending our amazing party can continue to bid right up to the last moment – we’ll have bidding stations in the gallery and help will be available.
In February, the gallery will be open Tuesdays and Fridays from 11am – 4pm to preview auction items, buy Mystery Art Grab tickets or get help with online bidding. You can also set up an appointment by email.
The 43!! Mystery Art Grab
Friday, February 14
The Mystery Art Grab Preview Exhibition opens.
The Art Grab features 43, 10” x 10” artworks created by professional artists specifically for this event. The works are all signed on the back to preserve the mystery. You can view the list of participating artists at the AGB.
Tickets $75
Pick up in person at the AGB during gallery hours throughout February, or email us to buy tickets via etransfer.
If not sold out in advance, tickets will be available at the party on March 1. Only 43 tickets are being offered: your ticket guarantees you an artwork that far exceeds the cost of the ticket.
