Impressionist
As an Aboriginal artist, my main goal in painting is to capture a moment in time. I love to paint from memory of what my eyes have seen, like large waves bouncing off rocks. To vision what this imagine might look like, is quite exciting as well. This also gives me a chance to play with my imagination. I get to choose what ever style I desire, such as abstract, realism or impressionism.
If the scene is something I witnessed, and want to get my viewer to grip the emotions and expression of the painting, I display this with facial gestures and movements of the people. To me painting is an ever-ending story of our life, always moving with brush strokes.
