“Circles of Truth”, acrylic paint, beads, natural objects such as rocks, birch bark and feathers, 8″ diameter
“Circles of Truth” captures the traditional culture and belief system of our Algonquin ancestors. Life moves in a circle, we take what has happened in the past and learn from it making the future better for the next 7 generations.
“Mother Earth“ is the land beneath us, supporting and providing the foundation we need as well as our life blood, the water. Mother Earth gives us healing and balanced energy through her many resources.
“Grandmother Moon“ guides us to knowing and understanding who we are. She provides strength and knowledge to illuminate the path ahead so that eventually our wisdom will help us to guide the next generation.
“The Tree of Life“ carries the knowledge of the past into the future and is an expression of the generations before us. The rocks at the base of the Tree of Life represent that ancient knowledge. And so we never forget there are a few orange beads added to the pieces.
