Lynn Singer

At the age of nine, Lynn was given her first camera by her father. They soon went on to developing film in their basement with her father’s original enlarger.

Since then, she’s taken a number of photo workshops, to gain both experience and feedback, including some at the Haliburton School of Art & Design as well as several withFreeman Patterson. She’s explored some alternate processes such as polaroid transfer, infrared and bromoil.

Before moving to the area in 2013, Lynn belonged to the Toronto Camera Club as well as to a photo group focusing on black and white analog-only photographs.

Lynn feels extremely fortunate to have found the f23 group, who have challenged her in her photographic journey. As an added, bonus she’s found a community of people who she’s pleased to call friends.
