Opening reception:

Kimberly Tucker lives and makes her art in the village of Apsley, Ontario. Her daily interaction with the natural world is part of what informs her work. She finds inspiration in her surroundings, often it may be something as small as the mound of green moss she has stepped on in passing, and taking a moment to watch as it recovers from her footprint. Kimberly is beguiled by both the smallest intricacies and the manner in which they are interwoven to create the whole. While her creative process may take the form of sculpture, felting, assemblage or collage Kimberly’s concept invariably probes the interrelationship between humanity and nature.
